The SunSaver SS-6L-12V PWM Charge Controller 6A 12VDC is RV, caravan and marine ready and a great choice for smaller solar systems 140W or less. Optimized for flooded, AGM or gel batteries, the charge controller protects batteries from full discharge and freezing, and charges batteries smoothly for a full charge without gassing. With marine-rated terminals, an anodized aluminum enclosure with epoxy encapsulation, this third-generation SunSaver charge controller is built tough and has been approved for use in hazardous locations. The temperature compensated charging feature ensures charging is optimized for ambient temperature, which extends battery life. Charging too fast in cold conditions, for example, can damage batteries. Additional features include a Charging Status LED, and a seperate LED that displays battery state of charge status. The SunSaver charge controller ships with a plastic terminal cover for UL certified installations.
